History and Appreciation of Music (J40)
An Introduction to the Appreciation of Music – Bitesize discussions on the music you know, an introduction to music you don’t, music you perhaps don’t want to hear again, and music which will take you down a rabbit hole you never knew existed. How is music created, what instruments make specific sounds and why does what we listen to shape how music develops and evolves, are just some of the questions this module looks to explore.
The Triangle Centre (upstairs)
The Triangle - Community Methodist Church is at the junction of Chorley Old Road and New Church Road Bolton. The entrance is on Chorley Old Road. It can be reached easily by car. Either from the roundabout at the junction of Chorley Old Road and Moss Bank Way or by driving up Chorley Old Road from Bolton. It is well served by buses 125 and 126 dropping you outside the front door on Chorley Old Road. The 501 drops you on New Church Road.
