A quartet of courses describing some aspects of the lives and times of 4 Lancashire families.
Course 1 - OCT 2024: OLD ROW In which we meet a textile family during a period of intense political and social unrest, leading up to the Power Loom Riots of 1826
Course 2 - JAN 2025: THE PEOPLE’S HISTORY Describes town life in 1584, with background tensions and Catholic persecutions, we follow the daily activities of the bailiff of the township’s leading gentry family.
Course 3 and 4 will commence October 2025
