History: House and Home (B23)
This course will look at well-to-do family living in the Lancashire Pennines c. 1600. We will examine the use of the dwelling, the daily lives and experiences of the members of the family, relationships with neighbours and other acquaintances and some typical local issues which might have affected them.
The Triangle Centre (upstairs room, no lift)
The Triangle - Community Methodist Church is at the junction of Chorley Old Road and New Church Road Bolton. The entrance is on Chorley Old Road. It can be reached easily by car. Either from the roundabout at the junction of Chorley Old Road and Moss Bank Way or by driving up Chorley Old Road from Bolton. It is well served by buses 125 and 126 dropping you outside the front door on Chorley Old Road. The 501 drops you on New Church Road.
